The SMART series programmable modular hydraulic power units represent the latest frontier of mechatronic technology applied to hydraulics. Thanks to the integration of advanced sensors, intelligent electronics and digital automation, PWM power outputs, CanBus, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and Hart communication channels, they offer superior performance, greater energy efficiency and unprecedented process control.

Designed for the industrial, mobile and oil & gas sectors, the Smart Power Unit (SPU) is the first programmable digital hydraulic power unit on the market, developed to ensure reliability, precision and operational flexibility.

Advanced Features of the Smart Power Unit

The heart of the SPU is the HPC (Hydraulic Process Controller), a programmable safety controller with SIL2 certified dual-core processor, which enables:

  • Power PWM output control for managing up to six proportional or on-off double solenoid electrovalves, without the need for external relays.

  • Advanced communication with CAN-BUS, Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Hart, for perfect integration in industrial systems and Industry 4.0 processes.

  • Available configurations: pressure [P] control, flow [Q] control, or proportional P/Q control with or without Load Sensing [LS] functionality.

Intelligent Monitoring with Integrated Sensors

The Smart Power Unit includes a suite of advanced sensors, which ensure complete real-time control:

  • Ceramic pressure transducer up to 350 bar

  • Motor shaft speed sensor

  • Oil temperature sensor

  • 3-axis accelerometer and dual local temperature sensor

Furthermore, it is possible to connect additional external sensors, analog or digital, thanks to the 12 Input lines available, expanding monitoring and automation capabilities.
