Hydraulic tanks for efficient and flexible system integration

The hydraulic tank plays a key role in the efficiency and reliability of a power unit. It must ensure correct hydraulic fluid storage and management and adapt to the available installation space. Hydronit offers a complete range of hydraulic tanks designed to match the modular logic of its systems, with solutions developed for compact layouts, different mounting configurations and a wide variety of operating conditions.

From steel and plastic tanks to heavy-duty aluminium executions, the range is built to simplify integration with Hydronit power packs while giving designers and OEMs greater freedom in system configuration. Most executions can be mounted horizontally or vertically.

Steel, aluminum and plastic tanks have same interface to the central manifold and can be easily swapped on the same power unit.

A complete range of hydraulic tanks for different applications

Hydronit hydraulic tanks are available in multiple configurations to meet different technical, dimensional and environmental requirements.

  • Steel hydraulic tanks
Available in square and cylindrical versions, steel tanks are a robust solution for demanding applications and for operating conditions involving very high or very low temperatures.
  • Plastic hydraulic tanks
Plastic tanks offer several practical advantages: they do not rust, allow easy oil level visibility and perform well in environments exposed to vibrations or accidental impacts.
  • Heavy-duty aluminium tanks
Designed for applications requiring strength and reduced weight, aluminium tanks combine durability with a compact and functional design. The widely improve the fluid heat dissipation.
  • Horizontal or vertical mounting
The range includes tanks designed for both horizontal and vertical installation, helping optimize space and simplify integration in complex machinery.
  • Different shapes and capacities
Round, cylindrical and square tanks are available in a wide range of sizes, from very compact sizes up to larger capacities for more demanding and higher flow hydraulic systems.
  • Accessories and integration components
The range can be completed with plugs, filler breathers, filters, suction pipes and other accessories designed to improve assembly, maintenance and system functionality.

Why choose Hydronit hydraulic tanks

Hydronit tanks are designed to work as part of a coherent modular system, not as standalone generic components. This allows easier configuration, better compatibility and a more efficient design process.

  • Wide choice of materials: Steel, plastic and aluminium solutions for different working environments and design requirements.
  • Compact integration: Tank interfaces are designed to fit seamlessly within Hydronit power unit architectures.
  • Flexible mounting options: Horizontal and vertical configurations help adapt the unit to space constraints and application needs.
  • Easy maintenance: Dedicated accessories and replacement logic simplify service and spare part management.
  • Customisation potential: Hydronit can also support custom-made tank solutions depending on the application and required quantities.

Designed for reliability, flexibility and easy maintenance

Choosing the right hydraulic tank means balancing available space, operating conditions, oil capacity and ease of service. Hydronit develops its tank range to support this process with practical, application-oriented solutions.

Plastic tanks can be advantageous where corrosion resistance, visibility of the fluid level and vibration resistance are important, while steel tanks are generally preferred for more extreme temperature conditions.

For specific project requirements, custom-made tanks can also be evaluated, helping OEMs and system designers build more tailored hydraulic solutions.

FAQ

Yes. The range includes hydraulic tanks for horizontal or vertical mounting, depending on the selected series and the space available within the hydraulic system.

Plastic tanks have various advatanges: they do not develop rust, the oil level is visible and they do not damage easily if bumped or exposed to vibrations. On the other hand steel tanks are preferable in case of ultra high or ultra low temperatures.

Yes. We can provide an adaptor flange (F80000001) for PPC and PPM which can be welded on a custom made tank. We can even design special tanks depending on application and quantities.

Yes. The range includes plugs, filler breathers, strainers, return filters, suction pipes and other tank accessories designed to complete the hydraulic unit configuration.
