Gear pumps for compact and modular hydraulic systems
Hydronit gear pumps are developed for customers who need compact dimensions, stable performance and easy integration with modular hydraulic power units. The range includes solutions for standard applications, high-pressure duties, reversible circuits and low-noise systems, with options designed to work seamlessly with Hydronit manifolds and power pack architectures. Their design supports high volumetric efficiency, thanks to the integrated pressure compensator automatically reducing mechanical clearings at high pressures. This translates in reduced heat generation and reliable operation, even in demanding working conditions.
Available gear pump series
K Series
The K Series is the standard pressure-balanced gear pump range, available with front or lateral ports. It is a versatile solution for many hydraulic applications and is also available as a double pump, with or without an integrated HI-LO circuit. This makes it suitable for customers looking for a balance between flexibility, performance and easy system integration.
G Series
The G Series is a lightweight, pressure-balanced pump developed specifically for mini power packs. It combines high efficiency, reduced noise and compact dimensions, making it ideal where space saving and performance must go together.
H Series
The H Series is designed for more demanding pressure conditions. It features an oversized shaft and a higher number of teeth to support high-pressure applications while reducing pressure pulsation. It is a strong choice when durability and smoother hydraulic behaviour are important.
VH Series
The VH Series is built for very high-pressure applications and reaches peak pressures up to 370 bar. With cast iron covers, it is engineered for applications where maximum strength and pressure resistance are essential.
R Series
The R Series offers bidirectional pumps with integrated suction check valves and two front outlet ports. Available in group 0 and group 1, these pumps are designed for reversible circuits and should be paired with SR or MR central manifolds.
S Series
The S Series uses helical gears to achieve extremely low noise, reduced pulsations and high-pressure capability. FAQ
Our pumps have three ratings for the maximum allowable pressure: 1-Peak: it can be allowed for maximum 2 seconds. 2-Intermittent: it can be applied on the pump for maximum 20 seconds; 3-Continuous: it can be applied to the pump at all times.
The group 1 pumps fit directly on the central manifold and are fixed by two bolts provided with the pump. The group 0 pumps are fitted by the adaptor plate E60513025, which adapts the gr.0 pump front flange to the central manifold.
Pressure balanced gear pumps are built with lateral pressure plates which reduce the mechanical clearance on the gears with the increase of the pressure on the outlet, thus greatly improving the volumetric efficiency, reducing energy consumption. This means more flow at high pressure without heat generation. The mechanical efficiency is kept at an optimal level too.
